Project 3: Reinterpreting Statement Boots (The Bohemian Edit)
We are looking for two artists to transform these unique, statement boots into pieces of wearable, Bohemian-inspired art. We want to embrace a free-spirited, eclectic aesthetic that plays with texture, earthiness, and unexpected details:
Pair 1 (Coral Corduroy): We want to explore the interplay of this rich, soft, coral-pink wide-wale corduroy with Bohemian-inspired interventions. We are looking for artists who can add elements like intricate embroidery, vintage lace overlays, or artisanal hardware to lean into a textured, boho-chic look.
Pair 2 (Lavender Suede): This ankle boot features a bold, architectural, translucent pink block heel. We are seeking an artist to balance this modern shape with a Bohemian soul—perhaps through soft, painted floral or celestial motifs, or the addition of leather fringe and woven elements to bridge the gap between architectural modernism and raw, artistic expression.
