Project 2: The Textile Transformation (Guna Mola Art)

We have sourced an authentic, stunning vintage Guna Mola textile panel (15"x 12") featuring a striking, hand-stitched stylized bird design. Instead of simply putting it in a frame, we want to partner with a local textile or apparel artist to breathe new life into a piece of vintage denim, heavy canvas, or outerwear using this gorgeous, layered geometric applique panel. We are looking for an artist who embraces creative freedom, someone who can integrate this vibrant, storytelling textile into a piece of wearable art that feels lived-in, soulful, and uniquely "West End."

• Once selected, artists will have a 7-week project deadline from the date materials are received to complete their finished piece.
